🚀 This Week on the Show…

We kick things off with one of the most unusual—and surprisingly useful—AI trends I’ve seen in a while…

🧀 The “AI Cheese Prompt” Phenomenon
Yes—you heard that right. Creators are using AI prompts in wildly creative ways to generate everything from food visuals to marketing concepts. But here’s the kicker—it’s not about cheese… it’s about how specific prompting techniques can dramatically improve your AI results.

I’ll show you how to apply this thinking to YOUR workflow—whether you’re creating content, graphics, or even product reviews.

📸 New Camera Innovation from Insta360 – “Snap It” Feature
Insta360 continues to push the envelope, and their new “Snap It” capability is all about speed and spontaneity.

Imagine capturing the perfect shot instantly—no fumbling, no delays. This is HUGE for content creators, travelers, and yes… even live broadcasters like us.

We’ll break down:

What “Snap It” actually does
Why it matters for real-world shooting
And whether it’s worth upgrading your gear

🚗 The Future is Here: Waymo Autonomous Vehicles
Driverless cars are no longer science fiction—they’re rolling out NOW.

Waymo is leading the charge, and we’re seeing rapid expansion of fully autonomous ride services. But the big question is…

👉 Are they ready for YOU?

We’ll talk about:

Real-world performance
Safety concerns
And how soon this could impact your daily life

🎁 Feature Gadget of the Week

Of course, we’ve got a featured tech gadget that I’ve personally tested—and as always, I’ll give you the straight scoop:

✔️ What it does
✔️ Who it’s for
✔️ And whether it’s worth your hard-earned money

(No fluff. No hype. Just real-world evaluation.)

🥚 Easter Egg Tip – Hidden Discounts & Coupons

Now here’s a little bonus for you…

💡 I’m going to show you a simple trick to uncover active discount codes and hidden coupons that most people never find.

This is one of those “once you know it, you’ll always use it” tips—and it can save you serious money on your next tech purchase.

🎬 This Week: AI Bot Showdown!

This week we’re doing something different — and fascinating.

We’re putting three of today’s most popular AI bots to the test:
👉 ChatGPT
👉 Google Gemini
👉 Perplexity

We asked each AI the exact same questions… and the results may surprise you.

🤖 The Experiment

Are all AI systems created equal?

In this episode, we compare how each AI responds to real-world tech questions involving:

📷 Action Cameras
– DJI Osmo Action 6

We evaluate:
✔ Accuracy
✔ Depth of response
✔ Bias or influence
✔ Practical usefulness
✔ Real-world recommendations

🔍 What You’ll Discover
Do AI bots agree on the “best” tech?
Which AI gives the most helpful answers?
Are AI recommendations consistent — or completely different?
Can you trust AI when making buying decisions?

This is a real-world comparison test with no scripts, no edits, and no filters.

🎯 Why This Matters

AI is changing how we research, shop, and make decisions.

What Tech Gear Should You Bring When Traveling? | My Real Travel Setup #780

Welcome to The Gadget Professor Show #780 hosted by Don Baine.
Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of The Gadget Professor Show!

This week we’re doing something a little different — and I think you’re really going to enjoy this one.

We’re taking a behind-the-scenes look at exactly what gear I bring with me when I travel abroad — whether it’s for business, trade shows, client meetings, or just a little pleasure travel.

As you know, wherever I go, I usually need to document a new gadget, capture footage for a review, or handle a client-related request. That means the gear I pack has to be reliable, portable, and absolutely dependable. When you’re thousands of miles from home, there’s no room for failure.

Now here’s the problem…

I tend to overpack.

And I suspect many of you do too.

It’s always difficult to decide which camera to bring. Do I take the action cam? The mirrorless? The drone? Multiple lenses? Backup audio? Extra lighting? Before you know it, you’re carrying half a studio through the airport.

And let’s be honest — TSA inspections, airline baggage restrictions, rising luggage fees, and dragging heavy gear through terminals is not fun anymore.

So I’ve finally developed a more reliable method to determine what really makes the cut — and what stays home.

It’s time to cull the gear.

Trim it down.
Travel smarter.
And still produce professional results.

Today I’m going to show you exactly what makes it into my travel kit — and more importantly — why.

You may be surprised at what I leave behind.

Stay tuned — this should be very interesting.

HP Blocked My Ink… So I Replaced All 4 Printers TGP#778

Welcome to The Gadget Professor Show #778 hosted by Don Baine.
🎙️ This Week on The Gadget Professor Show

This week, I’m doing something a little different.

Instead of reviewing the latest cutting-edge gadget, I’m talking about something we all rely on… printers — and why I made the decision to remove four HP printers from my studio and home office.

After years of mechanical issues, frustrating customer service experiences, and being transferred endlessly on support calls, I finally hit a breaking point. My printers refused to print, claiming I did not have “valid HP ink” — even though I was enrolled in the Instant Ink program and using genuine cartridges sent directly from HP.

When I cancelled the subscription, the printers blocked the cartridges entirely.

That was it.

In this episode, I’ll break down:

What actually happened

How subscription-based ink programs really work

Why your printer may not truly belong to you

And the financial reality of cartridge printing vs tank systems

I replaced all four units with the Epson EcoTank ET-2988 — and the cost comparison may surprise you.

This isn’t about brand bashing. It’s about consumer ownership, control, and understanding the long-term cost of the devices we bring into our homes and businesses.

If you’ve ever been frustrated by printer subscriptions, firmware lockouts, or rising ink costs, this is an episode you won’t want to miss.

Let’s get started.
