TGP # 721 CES 2025 Wrapup – Best of

Welcome to The Gadget Professor Show #720 hosted by Don Baine.

Had a fantastic trip to CES 2025…my 20th consecutive year!

I saw some really incredable technology. This week I decided two cover two of the 56 interviews I conducted at the show.

These particular devices where very inpressive. I plan to have both companies on the show within the next few weeks.

The X1 PRO and PROMAX are designed to keep up with you no matter your adventure, from our littlest explorers to the professional athletes among us. They boast top follow speeds of up to 26mph (42km/h) and can continue tracking you in short bursts up to 37mph (60km/h).The HOVERAir X1 PRO boasts 15 times more NPU power than the HOVERAir X1, powering upgraded AI-based positioning and computer vision tracking algorithms that keep you locked in the frame even at high speeds. The X1 PRO and PROMAX feature an upgraded aerodynamic frame design to reduce drag. Our custom-designed motors and propellers balance efficiency and power for higher speeds. The HOVERAir X1 PRO and PROMAX utilize a system of onboard sensors and proprietary sensor fusion for reliable positioning and motion planning on any terrain. Embrace freedom as you take your X1 PRO and PROMAX with you anywhere adventure calls.

DWARF 3 Smart Telescope: Introducing DWARF 3, the world’s most portable and all-round smart telescope.

With its compact size, automatic setup, and shooting capabilities, the DWARF 3 smart telescope makes astrophotography accessible to anyone, anywhere. Capture the Moon, Sun, Milky Way, Galaxy, and Nebula in just minutes. What’s more? You can also use the DWARF 3 for bird watching and shooting 1 billion pixel panorama photos.A state-of-the-art upgrade to the AI Smart Telescope from DwarfLabs, the Dwarf 3 brings more: more optics, more image sensor, more battery, more storage, and more processing power! If you’re looking for an ultra-portable, easy-to-use, smart telescope package that is ready for viewing objects both near and far, look no further! The Dwarf 3 Smart Telescope offers a unique perspective in the smart telescope market by packing in two of them — a 737 mm equivalent telescopic view and a 45 mm equivalent wide-angle. That’s a longer total reach than the previous model while maintaining a similarly large FOV wide-angle, allowing you to as much and more than before! This increased optical performance has been paired with a more powerful sensor and Neural Processing Unit, meaning whether you’re tracking birds, stitching together panoramas, or imaging deep space objects, you’ll get cleaner images in less time. Battery capacity and storage have been increased as well, with a 10,000 mAh internal battery and 128GB of built-in eMMC hard dive space that will ensure you can make the most out of your imaging sessions at home, a neighborhood star party, or weekend camping trip!
