TGP #458 ZVOX

Gadgets

Welcome to The Gadget Professor Show #458 hosted by Don Baine.AccuVoice is the trademarked name for patent-pending technology that lifts voices out of soundtracks to make them clear and understandable. AccuVoice works much like hearing aid technology, but uses a much more advanced processor that is capable of subtle manipulation of sound. Two AccuVoice settings – normal (AC1) and ultra-boost (AC2) for ultra-clear voices.
Compact aluminum cabinet delivers room-filling home theater sound.
Setup is super-simple. One connecting cord…and a one-page manual.
Use ZVOX remote…or your current TV/Cable remote.
Patented AccuVoice technology delivers state-of-the-art voice clarity.
Dimensions: 17″ W x 3.1″ D x 2.9″ H.
Can’t hear dialogue on TV? We can fix that! The AccuVoice AV200 uses hearing aid technology to make voices crystal-clear, even at low volumes. ZVOX’s proprietary technology literally lifts voices out of the sound track – and then modifies the voices to make them understandable. We have never heard dialogue this clear and sharp. You’ll hear every word, even on poorly mixed programs or British programs.
The AccuVoice AV200 Speaker uses patented technology to make voices clear and easy to understand when you watch a program, movie or sporting event on TV. The speaker uses a high-speed computer processor and advanced algorithms to separate voices from the rest of the soundtrack. It then manipulates those voices to make them clear and understandable. The results are remarkable.

TGP #455 MimoLive Boinx Interview

Gadgets

Welcome to The Gadget Professor Show #455 hosted by Don Baine. Boinx the makers of MimoLive, is the premiere streaming video studio for Mac. There is nothing like it. This week we interview direct from Germany, Mr Oliver Breidenbach, the CEO of Boinx.
mimoLive™ is the best live video switcher and streaming software for Mac. It enables you to use and switch multiple cameras, grab presentations, add graphics like weather maps, lower thirds, social media feeds, green screens, and much more. Scale, crop and convert video of divers formats, frame rates and aspect ratios – everything live and in real-time from your Apple® computer.
Professional video switcher and live streaming for Mac
The live video workflow with mimoLive follows four major steps. First, capture your video footage using any given camera. Followed by the second step, the input into the computer. Conventional using professional graphic cards, externs SDI / HDMI Converter and more recently NDI 4 camcorders. Today we believe in the future of the network standard NDI 4, that’s why it is our recommendation to you to check if NDI 4 delivers good results for your sort of live video stream.

Encoding, switching videos stream, graphics and decoding at once
Once the video streams are coming into your Mac – it’s time for mimoLive™ to take over encoding, switching video streams, adding graphics and decoding the final stream. This is the third major workflow step for the director of the show. We enpower video producer to control comprehensive live shows by small teams.
Finally, mimoLive uses several presets for the major streaming platforms to simply your work life, and to make the fourth step of your workflow as easy as possible.
