Is this the end of AM Radio ? Please say NO !!

AM radio is mostly popular among older listeners, rural communities, and people with conservative and religious beliefs. AM radio also tends to focus on news, talk shows, sports, and weather updates, which may appeal to specific listener demographics. However, the popularity of AM radio has decreased over the years due to the rise of FM and digital radio platforms.
Will this trend be enough to force the shutdown of the AM Radio band as we know it ? I hope not, but I can definitely see it happening within the next three years….

More Americans listen to the radio than use Facebook each week.
55% of Gen Z in the U.S. listen to AM/FM radio every day.
Adults listen to 104 minutes of radio per day, 12.2 hours per week.
